After a long, tedious night of debugging computer code, Rock Highcliffe needed nothing more than to spend his day surfing the Zuma Beach break. Instead, while trying to determine who sent the men to burglarize his office, Rock inserted himself smack dab into the middle of an existential battle between two of Los Angeles’s most resourceful power brokers. As the bodies began piling up all around Rock, his old friend Lucky Fuego’s crazy conspiracy theories actually began feeling plausible.
